Facilities at La Pierre Qui Chante.

There are 2 bedrooms and a separate bathroom and toilet on each of the 2 floors. All the rooms, including the bathrooms, are a good size and comfortably furnished with well made furniture and oriental style rugs. All the bedrooms are on the East side of the house.

Downstairs: -Large entrance hall with desk, settee and coffee table. Off this hall opposite the front door is the breakfast room/kitchen which has modern units with provençal blue tiling, a stainless steel hob and fan oven, an American fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and double sink. There is also an antique pine dresser with clear glass doors, and a pine dining table

Down a wide flight of 4 shallow steps under an archway is the hall proper, with off it, to the right: 1 double bedroom with wrought iron bedroom suite.
1 twin bedroom with wooden spindle beds, a wardrobe,two bedside tables, a roll top desk and an arm chair.
To the left is the sitting room through an archway with clear glass doors. Here is the extending dining table, oak sideboard, hi-fi unit, satellite TV (Sky, with BBC 1,2,4, ITV, Channels 4,5 and other minor channels like the Travel Channel etc.) DVD/CD player & recorder.

There is a large fireplace, bookshelves and comfortable seating with settees and arm chairs.
Further on through the hall is the bathroom and shower (new 2007) and the toilet with washbasin. -At the end of the corridor is a door into the garage with washing machine.

Upstairs: A staircase with balustrade leads up to a landing with chest and bookcase.
On the right are two twin bedrooms. The beds in either of which could be made into king size beds by putting them together. (State preferences when booking) Each room has wardrobes, dressing tables, bedside tables and armchairs. - Bathroom with separate shower (new2007) and toilet, both with velux windows.

There is a kidney shaped swimming pool (10.8m X 5.5m) just off the kitchen terrace.
Hot water is provided by two water cylinders with immersion heaters.
